Pineapple on pizza is bad for one reason. Pizza toppings are supposed to be savory and rich, stuff that tastes greasy and delicious. When you put stuff with sugar on it there becomes an imbalance with your tastebuds and is also cold compared to the rest of the pizza. And it just feels soggy in your mouth. Adding ham only hides the pineapple from being recognized in your tastebuds. That being said pepperoni is the only good topping. |
